Checkdupli is a software designed to search and display all the duplicate files in a folder and its subfolders. It detects files that have the same name, or "almost" the same name, differing with accents, blank, or some specific characters. Some advanced options allow you to adjust the filter criteria, taking accents, spaces or specific strings into account and to compare the content of a files. In a first step, it does not check the content, that explains the high speed of this program! The program is multilingual, English, French and Spanish are available. Version for Windows XP, Vista. Synchrocopy is a software designed to copy from the source folder all files that are more recent than in the target folder, that is to say the modified and the created files. It will check all the subfolders of the source and target folders and can delete the files that are on the target and not on the source. Thus the target folder can be maintained as a mirror copy of the source folder. This is useful for instance to backup specific folders(s) of a laptop on a desktop or a file server, or an external disk or device. The program is comparing the time stamp of the files that have the same name in the same sub-folder. Advanced options allow you to check on content as well.
